WHERE IT BEGAN
Visiting our grandparents once a year was never grand, just home-cooked food, familiar faces, and a quiet, unconditional love.
My grandfather made sure everything ran smoothly. My grandmother spent her days cooking, feeding us, and packing care packages for the journey back.

Then life picked up, school, work, commitments. The annual visits grew fewer, and the years quietly slipped by. Then, one day, they were gone.
All that remained were a few faded photographs and stories told by others.

But there was something I could no longer have: their voice, their expressions, and the way they moved. The little everyday actions, and the stories only they could have told.
With time, one thought stayed: There should have been a way to know them again.
To hear them speak, to watch them do something ordinary, and to pass their wisdom forward to generations who will never get to meet them.
That realization became the soul of BHVNK.
